Rubbish Prince Thematic Workshop: Fused Plastic Bags

The Rubbish Prince is a giant puppet performance created through upcycling over 2500 plastic bags collected from the public. In this thematic workshop, participants are introduced to the craft techniques integral to the creation of the puppets by fusing plastic fabric. Finished work can be brought home by the participants.

Advisable age group for each workshop: All ages, children under 7 needs to be accompanied by adults (activity involves the use of hot iron)

Limited to 20 participants per 25 mins workshop.

Event participants are to bring spare unused plastic bags.

Common Birds of Singapore Game

The aim of the game is to increase awareness of our urban bird diversity. Through taking points linked to the activity, we will also share related issues such as roles birds play in our environment, threats that they face, as well as what each person can do to help.

2. Match My Trash Game

Match My Trash

The aim of the game is to show the harm and impact litter has on our environment. This will allow talking points on the responsible disposal of trash, but more importantly, the need to reduce our consumption which in turn leads to reduction on waste.

Marine Life Installation

Pledge on how to reduce water pollution and get involved in the painting of installation. Installation will portray how sea creatures are trapped by human pollution.
